Each workout has multiple versions with suggested modifications and scaling options. Regardless of your fitness level, we can find a fun and challenging workout for you!

CrossFit Mayhem

A CrossFit gym located in Cookeville, TN ran by 4x Fittest Man on Earth and CrossFit Games champion, Rich Froning Jr. CrossFit Mayhem has an advanced training and programming staff including Rich Froning to test and create every single workout. 

What does a typical day look like?

Every day will include a warm-up, which includes dynamic and static movements to strategically warm up the body in preparation for the upcoming movements. Athletes are always welcome to add in any movements they prefer to warm up with. 

Most days of the week, our programming includes a strength cycle. These cycles typically last 6-8 weeks in which we work various lifts such as squats, deadlifts, bench press, and olympic lifts. Some cycles include skill work such as gymnastics, plyometrics, and balance type movements.

Following strength comes the Workout of the Day (WOD). Our WODs are metabolic conditioning sessions that brings high intensity, constantly varied, functional movements. WODs can include anything from cardio machines to weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, and anything in between.

Finally, our one hour class comes to a close with cleaning up and cooling down. The programming gives a few stretches at the end of each session to help target the areas that were worked.

Your goals don't have to be competing in CrossFit competitions, most of our members come for a healthier and happier lifestyle while having a supportive community behind them.
